The Alley Cats have just returned to campus from Winter Tour, and boy do we have stories and pictures to show for it.
The Alley Cats have just returned to campus from Winter Tour, and boy do we have stories and pictures to show for it. The Alley Cats began tour in Quinn’s hometown of Denver, made their way over to Breckenridge for some skiing in the mountains, and finished off tour in Charleston! The Cats had so much fun, with some of us skiing for the first time in our lives and some of us fully in our element.

Champagne Jamboree 2022
This year’s CJ was a smashing success, donning more than 20 different arrangements, a sold out venue, a sparkling dance number, and a finale to end all finales.
Every year, the Alley Cats plan one of, if not, the greatest a cappella experience in the Yale Calendar, Champagne Jamboree. This year’s CJ was a smashing success, donning more than 20 different arrangements, a sold out venue, a sparkling dance number, and a finale to end all finales. Thank you to everyone who came out and supported us this year, we love you and we appreciate you more than you know. With over 100 bottles of champagne present at the afterparty, we had an absolutely marvelous time celebrating this night with all of our friends and family. Cheers to 78 years of the Alley Cats!

The Whiffenpoofs have selected four Alley Cats to be a part of their new class of 2023, and we could not be more excited for these boys! Owen Wheeler, Carl Viyar, Seoho Kim, and Adrien Rolet (Left to Right) will be taking a gap in their academics over the next school year to travel the world with the Whiffenpoofs, America’s oldest and best-known collegiate a cappella group. While we will miss them dearly, we cannot wait to see what adventures they go on this coming year! CAW!

Introducing our latest album, Gemini! Over this last year, we remotely arranged, recorded, performed and produced an album of duets with the current 12 members of the group.

The album is designed to authentically showcase our group sound for the past year, while also showing how the Cats’ repertoire has seriously diversified over the years. In a year with very limited global connection, we thought it would be appropriate to use the duet format as an opportunity to express the strong connections between the Cats. After our Summer Tour around South Carolina and DC, we were seriously eager to sing together again!

It was worth the wait.
Introducing our first ever live music video! We teamed up with Grammy and Emmy award-winning songwriter Diane Warren to promote the release of Four Good Days, a Netflix Film starring Mila Kunis and Glenn Close.
The film follows the impact of severe opioid addiction on a family, and explores the fundamental ways in which we can truly be there for each other.
We recorded the song remotely and spent a weekend filming at East Rock thanks to a big group effort. Click on the image below to watch the new music video on our YouTube!
